Why I Love Teaching

My favorite thing about teaching is that every day is different. The variety of third-grade lessons and student interactions keeps me on my toes; it’s never dull! I love building a classroom community and witnessing student growth.

About Me

I have been married to my husband, Bill (who attended RHE as a child), for 15 years. We live in Richboro and have three children. Emma is in 7th grade at NMS, and twins Quynn and William are 4th graders at WES (my former elementary school). I stay up far too late reading every night — In 2025, I read 73 books! As a family, we spend a lot of time at the beach in Ocean City, NJ, and exploring Tyler Park. I’m also a novice sourdough baker.

From Her Colleagues

Jacquelyn goes above and beyond in her teaching by making learning come alive for her students! She never misses a chance during the school day for a learning opportunity with her students, whether its identifying solids and liquids before Thanksgiving by teaching her students how to make butter in a jar or having her students fill out their own voter’s registration cards and participate in a mock election. She creates a culture of community and excitement for learning in her classroom that is unmatched. Jacquelyn is also an incredible colleague and important asset in her school.
